Dave Hiebert

As my career was, and is, mostly based within the world of videography, my interest in photography started off as a hobby. As time went on, I found the two mediums often overlap, so I started to bring the two together in my business world, as well as in my art.

For the most part, I am a self taught photographer who has learned everything either by trial and error, or by watching people who actually know what they’re doing. By doing so, my hope is to improve my craft via osmosis. I have been blessed with many great opportunities to travel the world…both with humanitarian efforts as well as some amazing vacations.

Travel is my biggest vice and I suffer from an insatiable wanderlust. This is the main reason that I will probably have to remain gainfully employed until I’m 80. So be it. I can’t imagine not being able to see at least part of what God has created. To me, life is too short to allow it to become mundane and predictable.
